music magazine analysis
The typical features of the Mojo magazines is that it has more articles, most of the ads feature guitars, articles about people and bands and what they are doing today and articles on the stars who have passed. More features include black and white photos of the bands decades earlier. Its genre is old rock. Its main audience is adults and old rock fans. The old rock singers are represented as rebels; mostly wearing messy suits to make them selves look like rebels. They also have smart hair where they mess it up a little.
my band website
this is my poster, it is unfortunately in two halves as it is large and can fit the whole thing on screen to take a screen shot.

Changes of style
in media we researched how different things can affect the taste and fashion like Beyonce, the homework was to write 200 words on both how 'Video killed the radio' and how the interned will 'kill' videos.
A) video kills radio
TV had given the audience the ability to see what was happening along with the music not like the radio where it only allows the audience listens, the TV also had a large market when it was first introduced and it was all the rage and radios were being casted aside to make room for the newer and better TV. Also the music superstars at the time also wanted to move into the newer TV and that meant there were lesser people available to put a show or sing on a radio, as everyone was attracted to TV. TV also impacts the audience with the video it shows; the video changes the style of many teenagers at the time to follow the outburst of music and young stars such as Elvis. It changes the habits of the audience, before they had to sit down and listen to the radio while they themselves are occupied doing something but with TV they can sit down and watch TV so they don’t only listen and they can see something. However when TV first came out it was very expensive and the radio was still a better option but later on as TV became cheaper, the use of radio declines.
B) Internet kills video
Internet has made music and music videos available to everyone; this beats TV by accessibility and its portability, as it can be anywhere while the TV has to be connected to a service. Internet also gave way for the creation of video websites such as youtube where people can paste their own videos. Internet has an advantage because the audience can watch which video they want and when they want to watch a video but with TV it depends on what it is showing at the time. Websites which allow you to download music are also very accessible and you can decide what to download and it is compatible with small devices such as the mp3 which makes listening to music compact and portable, they also offer music at low prices if not free for the music file. There are large markets for Internet music because it is worldwide and can be accessed from anywhere which is more efficient and gives the audience a larger variety of what music they can listen instead of depending on what the TV or the radio is playing at the time and it is also free unlike the TV.

· Sound effects
There is a sound effect when to express something which doesn’t make a sound
Beyonce represents herself in many different ways because it can effect the number of people who are going watch the video and also it depends on the audience whether it is teenage girls or boys, each wants to see different things like the girls want to see dancing and the boys want to see just Beyonce and the way she looks and moves. Beyonce changes her representations sometimes due to the changes in fashion and taste of the public and she has to follow and keep up with these changes in order to stay famous and to keep up her reputation as a music video star. She also changer her style because she herself could be the change in the taste and fashion of the world and that would make her more popular, she also changes fashion along with other singers in order for both of them to get a win-win situation with one another such as with Lady Gaga, Beyonce also changes her representation each video to give variation so that her audiences will not get bored watching her and that she can still remain popular but the only thing that stays the same is that she always tries to look elegant and sexy.

Media representation of the clumsy person
I chose the clumsy person in comedies because they attract the audience's attention and they are always the most popular characters in most comedies because they play a big part in comedy movies. The clumsy people always given funny situations and sometimes their misfortune can be funny to the audience and they sometimes say or do the wrong things at the wrong time, that's what makes them popular most of the time.
